As most of you know, my favorite season is right around the corner. That’s right—baseball season!!
This past Saturday I took a ride out to Sag Harbor where we held the “Pintauro Baseball League” 2012 draft. It is a fantasy league that features mostly family members, with a few close friends thrown into the mix. There is no money involved if you win this fantasy league, but you do get your name engraved on a trophy to be displayed wherever you wish, and you get to brag and rub it in—which my family does very well.
I always go into the draft telling myself to pick players with my head instead of my “pinstriped” heart. My first pick this year was, once again, a New York Yankee. I cannot help it if... more
