Brown Harris Stevens of the Hamptons has announced that broker Andrea Ackerman has joined the firm’s newly expanded and renovated Bridgehampton office as senior director. Ms. Ackerman has been a top broker for more than 26 years.

Well known for her involvement in a variety of local fund-raising, cultural and community organizations, Ms. Ackerman has been honored for outstanding leadership in her industry by the Metropolitan Registries. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Center of the Hamptons, the chairperson of the Social Action Committee, and also chaired the nominating committee which established a new slate of officers and trustees. Marianne Sawicki, an agent with more than 15 years of experience, has joined the Southold office.
