Helen (Novick) Quatroche of Southampton died on May 9, 2019. She was 88.

Born and raised in Westhampton, she was one of eight children and lived a happy and full life, survivors said. She met Morley Quatroche Sr. while working as a cashier in the Westhampton Theater where Morley was the theater manager. They married, moved to Southampton, had three children, and had 66 years together.

Survivors said her world revolved around her family. Known for her delicious cheesecakes and her potato salad, which had one secret ingredient, she was a wonderful cook. Her needlepoint skills were top-notch and her projects grace many of our homes.

She and her husband enjoyed many happy times with their friends at the Southampton Golf Club, the Southampton Beach Club, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, and Friday night dates at the Post House, back in the day.

Mrs. Quatroche is survived by her husband, Morley Sr.; her brother, Joe (Mary Jane); her children, JoAnn (Harry, who died in 2012), Morley Jr. (Mary), Susie (Matt); and her grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Katie, and Matthew; and many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton. Interment to follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Kanas Center for Hospice Care of East End Hospice, Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-7048.
