The Bridgehampton Fire Department responded to a house fire on Jobs Lane in Bridgehampton in the early morning hours on Sunday to knock down a large and active house fire. According to Bridgehampton Fire Department Chief Tom Federico, the department got the call around 4 a.m. and when firefighters arrived on the scene, half the house was engulfed in flames. A neighbor had made the call after seeing flames coming from the home, which was unoccupied at the time. It took firefighters a little under an hour to put out the fire, Federico said.
