Lucille Ann Corwith of Lugoff, South Carolina, died June 22, 2019, at Kershaw Health Medical Center in Camden, South Carolina. She was 84.
Born on April 8, 1935, to John P. and Josephine E. (Zyckowski) Krzenski in Southampton, she grew up in Southampton Village and attended Southampton Public Schools. On December 31, 1955, she married Eric Peterson Corwith of Water Mill. They made their home along Mill Pond in Water Mill, with their son, E. Peter, and daughter, Melissa. With the support of Ms. Corwith, Eric and Peter proudly served their community as Southampton Town Trustees.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eric; son, Peter; and two brothers, John and Thomas Krzenski. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Coker and husband Craig of Lugoff; daughter-in-law, Karen Corwith of Water Mill; a brother, Frank Krzenski of Virgina; her sister-in-law, Barbara Farrell of Southampton; her brother-in-law, Arthur Muller of Water Mill; and six grandchildren, Eric and Kimberley Corwith of Water Mill and Ryan, Nate, Emma and Caroline Coker of Lugoff. She also is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, June 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Water Mill Cemetery.
