Regina Falkowski of Bridgehampton died in her sleep on January 18, 2018, at home, while surrounded by family. She was 93.
A native of Bridgehampton, Mrs. Falkowski lived an active life, as a homemaker and caregiver for her family, contributor to maintaining the family farm, and involvement in the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church.
She always loved the farm, survivors said, first supporting her late husband of 53 years, Joseph, and subsequently continuing her involvement in the family farming business once her son, Tom, took over operations and expanded into the Country Garden Farm Stand, and finally watching over the farm from her home perched on a hillside. She loved to cook Polish delicacies and enjoyed playing card games with her friends.
Mrs. Falkowski was predeceased by three brothers, Jerome, John and Michael Skonieczny; and three sisters, Jean Hoinski, Mary Schwonik and Hattie Yastrzemski.
She is survived by her three sons, John, Thomas and J. Michael Falkowski; her daughter, Nancy DePetris; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the O’Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home in Southampton.
