Phil Levine of New York City and East Quogue died on May 8, 2018, shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He was 76.
A former Manhattan Borough deputy engineer for the Department of Traffic, he retired in 2003, and went to work in private industry, first as a consultant to Urbitran, until it was bought by AECOM, where he had been a senior manager for the past 10 years.
Mr. Levine was predeceased by his only child, a son Peter. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie Levine; and many friends and associates. .
