Shawn Joseph Oudeans of East Quogue died on February 8, in the company of his family and friends. He was 40.
Mr. Oudeans was a lifelong resident of East Quogue, growing up on Ocean Avenue and graduating in 1993 from Westhampton Beach High School. He was employed with Terry Contracting for the past decade and involved in local football and baseball teams. Survivors said he was known for his “welcoming nature and fun spirit.”
Mr. Oudeans is survived by his wife, Jennifer; three sons, Kolby and twins Konnor and Kaden; daughter, Kaylee; three sisters, Darlene, Christine and Justine; two brothers, Raymond and Craig; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Maryann and Raymond; and younger sister, Eileen.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Follet & Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. A funeral was held on February 13 at the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays.
