The exterior lights lining the nearly half-mile-long main drive leading to the Eastport South Manor Junior-Senior High School in Manorville are now working again, according to Superintendent of Schools Mark Nocero.
Early last month, the lights along the main entrance to the building stopped working and officials later realized that the outage was caused by deficient wiring. Though initial estimates said the problem would cost $65,000 to fix, the original vendor, Welsbach Electric of Long Island in Plainview, agreed to correct the problem at no cost to the district.
