Bridgehampton School District took part in the 2024 Youth Business Summit International Trade Show & Exhibition at the Javits Center. Bridgehampton’s virtual enterprise and marketing classes, which exhibited alongside 350 students-created companies, generated over $130,000 in virtual sales. The exhibition attracted more than 4,000 students from across the globe. Virtual Enterprise is a class offered to high schoolers where students learn to successfully manage a simulated business, manage expenses and engage in competitive business strategy. Members of Hampton Bays Elementary School’s service club, K-Kids, Recently raised $150 for the Flying Point Foundation for Autism and $150 for The Anderson Center as part of an annual autism awareness fundraiser.
