Seeking a Staff Accountant located in Westhampton Beach, NY. This position is an essential member of the Accounting team. Our club is primarily a seasonal club operating from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Accounting team in accounting-related responsibilities
• Daily recording activities, month-end closing and the implementation of proper internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements.
• Work effectively with the development and operational staff to resolve accounting/finance related issues
• Invoice processing, signature routing and entry into A/P module, as applicable
• Manage reconciliation of Accounts Payable between General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledger
• Monthly reconciliation of General Ledger
• Review daily POS entries against members on property, interface with managers to correct, post in Jonas
• Special projects as assigned
