Quickbooks and newer. Role would require Sales tax payment, Payroll, General inputting of vendors and customer sales. Managing credit card payments as well as a few other tasks, 1 day a week and $30-$40 an hour. Business is a mason supply yard with furniture sales. My bookkeeper can train and go over what additional skills may be needed. Small business located in East Quogue, NY 11942.

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong aptitude for multitasking? We are seeking a Project Accountant who possesses excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and sales tax processes. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and must reside east of the canal due to seasonal commuting constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of each project’s payment schedule and ensure timely client invoicing in accordance with contract terms.
2. Generate pre-billing reports for project-related activities and prepare detailed invoices, along with necessary backup documentation.
3. Conduct monthly analysis and reconciliations of all project accounts to guarantee accuracy and assess profitability.
4. Manage and organize all documentation from subcontractors, including agreements, insurance requirements, W2s, licenses, etc.
5. Review timecards for superintendent and service teams, input payable hours into QuickBooks, and ensure payroll accuracy.
6. Establish new clients and projects in our system, providing essential documentation for audits, monthly, and year-end closings.
7. Code and input vendor payables into QuickBooks with precision.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, ranging from $70-90K, and the company offers a range of attractive employee benefits.

Perfect Earth is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to manage their new Living Lands program on Eastern Long Island, which will provide individualized coaching and education for landowners, landscape designers, and maintenance professionals to ensure successful transitions from conventional, toxic landscaping to nature-based practices. The Program Manager will function as a facilitator, engaging landowners, decision-makers, and the gardening and landscaping community, to develop and provide hands-on training programs.
The Living Lands Regional Program Manager position requires a creative and organized self-starter with experience in horticulture, landscape management, environmental science, conservation biology, and/or restoration ecology. The Program Manager must be passionate and knowledgeable about topics such as plant/wildlife interactions, soil biology, and water usage; have a commitment to toxic-free and nature-based practices; have land-based project management experience; and possess exceptional communication skills.
The Living Lands Regional Program Manager is a remote, full-time position that reports to Perfect Earth’s Director of Programs. Regular visits to project sites on Eastern Long Island and occasional travel to New York City for meetings is required.
This is a full-time position with health and retirement benefits. The salary range for this position is $80,000 -100,000 depending on experience.
