Luxury Retail Sales Associate – Part-Time, Year-Round, Southampton, NY, USA

SFERRA Fine Linens is a luxury home décor company in search of an experienced Luxury Sales professional who understands the sales process and the intangible values that luxury products carry with them to be the face of our Southampton location.

You will be responsible for overseeing sales at the company’s retail location during store hours. You must be able to effectively communicate our offerings’ value while building strong relationships with clients. This requires understanding both the product and the client’s needs, wants, and desires. The successful candidate will provide exceptional Customer Service to help build customer relationships and encourage them to return to the store.

As a Sales Associate, you will represent the brand as an SFERRA Ambassador by promoting the values and ambitions of the brand. To do so, you’ll need to focus on the brand’s DNA and understand the brands’ vision, purpose, and core values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintaining relationships with current clients through regular contact to ensure satisfaction with the ·
company’s services
· Network with designers
· Provide excellent customer service with the ability to develop a meaningful and loyal client
relationships.
· Build and maintain client base through consistent follow-up with phone calls and thank you notes,
scheduling appointments to review new product lines, and inviting to store events
· Providing customers with product knowledge and recommendations on which products would best
suit their needs
· Brand Ambassador, communicating features and benefits of merchandise beyond the basics and
suggestive selling techniques to appeal to the customer’s needs and ultimately generate sales
· Arranging merchandise in a way that will attract the attention of potential customers
· Creating an environment that encourages customers to spend time in the store and encourages them
to make additional purchases
· Schedule flexibility and dependability
· Displays an energetic and positive attitude
· All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
At least 1-3 years of prior HIGH-END retail experience is essential
Previous experience at the store sales level is essential
Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
Flexibility to work a part-time retail schedule, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
