Police Seek Witnesses In East Hampton Hit-And-Run On Tuesday Night

East Hampton Town Police are looking for a motorist who drove away after hitting a 17-year-old pedestrian in East Hampton on Tuesday night.

The teenager, a male, was walking northwest on Queens Lane near Stuarts Lane at approximately 6:27 p.m. when he was struck from behind by a vehicle, police said.

The vehicle left the scene. The victim was airlifted by Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and then released.

Police are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run to contact them at 631-537-7575. All calls will be kept confidential.
