Anne Marie Conroy, of the Society of the Sacred Heart, died on August 5 in Atherton, California. She was 91.
Born on July 9, 1925, in Belle Harbor, she was the daughter of Gardiner and Marie (McGoldrick) Conroy.
Sister Conroy entered the Society of the Sacred Heart in 1959 at Kenwood in Albany and made her final profession in 1967 in Rome. She was a graduate of Manhattanville College in Purchase. An educator, she held key administrative positions in the Society of the Sacred Heart and at Manhattanville College, most recently as trustee, from 2006-2015.
Sr. Conroy is survived by a niece, Vicki Black and husband Les; and a nephew, F. Briggs Dalzell Jr., all of Southampton; many cousins and her Sisters in the Society of the Sacred Heart.
A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 20, at 10 a.m. in the Oakwood Chapel in Atherton. Burial will be at Kenwood Cemetery in Albany.
