The Great Food Truck Derby Returns To Bridgehampton

The Great Food Truck Derby will return to the Hayground School in Bridgehampton on Friday, August 19, with a minimum of 15 food trucks hailing from the East East, New York City and further afield.

The modified Airstream known as Noah’s on the Road will be there representing Noah’s restaurant in Greenport, and The Inn Spot ... Out! will come from The Inn Spot on the Bay in Hampton Bays. Also slated to participate are Anewyoricanthing, Blondies Bake Shop, Chiddy’s Cheesesteaks, Eat Me Drink Me, Pizza Luca, Rolling Smoke Grill, The Sea Bun Natural Food Co., Chiki-Wawa, Elegant Eats, Whole Le Crepe, The Sea Bean Natural Food Co., Ponti Rossi Italian Food Truck, Nice Buns Slammin’ Sliders, Island Empanadas, Cynfulfood Catering, and BynumOnWheels.

The fifth annual event will also include local coffee, wine and soft drinks.

Blocks, Trucks + Art, an 18-wheeler that welcomes children to learn, build and create, will be on site. Blues rock band The Shockwaves will provide music.

Tickets are $65 and include one serving at every food truck, plus beverages. For kids 12 and younger, admission is $20. VIP admission is $100 and includes early access. The Great Food Truck Derby will take place at 151 Mitchell Lane, Bridgehampton, on Friday, August 19, from 4 to 7 p.m., with VIP entry at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are available at bit.ly/2atOUhU.
