The “Tom Twomey Series” at the East Hampton Library focuses on topics of both local and national interest in six programs offered over six months. The series was created and named in memory of the late Tom Twomey, the former chair of the library’s board of managers.

The fifth annual “Tom Twomey Series” continues on Saturday, June 29, at 6 p.m. with “Washington Update: A Conversation with CBS News’ Rita Braver and Attorney Robert Barnett.”

The renowned husband-and-wife power duo will switch places, with the lawyer Mr. Barnett asking the questions of journalist Ms. Braver as they share a behind-the-scenes view of what’s happening in the nation’s capital.

Coming up next month, on Friday, July 12, architect Anne Surchin and researcher Daniel Cohen present “At Home with the Wiborgs: The Family and their Fabled Estate . On Saturday, August 24, architect Roberta Sandenbergh and realtor Jane Dillon present “Living Better in Small Spaces,” a talk at 9:30 a.m. followed by a tour of small village homes at 10:30 a.m.

All programs are presented in the library’s Baldwin Family Lecture Room and are followed by a Q&A. There are no tickets, and no one will be turned away.
