Guild Hall of East Hampton celebrated the recipients of the 33rd Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards on March 5 at The Rainbow Room in Manhattan. Audrey Flack received the Visual Arts award presented by David Brigham, Gail Sheehy received the Literary Arts award presented by Tom Wolfe, and Harris Yulin received the Performing Arts award presented by Alec Baldwin. Additionally, Sheri Sandler received the academy’s Special Award for Leadership presented by Guild Hall Executive Director Andrea Grover. The awards ceremony was held during a benefit dinner hosted by Academy President Eric Fischl and Guild Hall Artist-in-Residence alumna Iris Smyles.
