Filmmaker Woody Allen was shooting on location in Quogue last week for his latest film, according to several sources.
“They were there Wednesday and Thursday filming in the village,” Quogue Mayor Peter Sartorius said during a telephone interview on Monday morning. “They were up on the beach. I’m not going to tell you the person’s house.”
According to the Internet Movie Database, Mr. Allen’s newest comedy will star Cate Blanchett, Michael Emerson, Alec Baldwin, Peter Sarsgaard and Louis C.K. The film is currently untitled.
During the crew’s two-day stay, they ate at Docker’s Waterside restaurant in East Quogue, Mr. Sartorius reported. To his knowledge, the film crew does not plan on returning for further filming.
“As far as I know, no, they do not plan to come back,” he said. “But that’s not definitive.”
A representative from the Quogue Village Clerk’s office asked that a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request be submitted for more information.
