Teeny Nominees Have Been Announced

The 10th annual Teeny Awards nominations were announced last week.

Sponsored by East End Arts, the Teeny Awards are presented to local students from 15 participating East End high schools for excellence in the theater arts.

Those nominated for Lead Actor in a Drama include Cristian Candemir from East Hampton and Nick Motlenski from McGann-Mercy. Lead Actress in a Drama nominations have gone to Kathryn Ryan from East Hampton and Nicole Chiuchiolo from McGann-Mercy.

Those nominated for Supporting Actor in a Drama include Joshua LeClerc and Yori Johnson from East Hampton, Jamie Tuthill from McGann-Mercy and Aidin Doyle from the Ross School. Supporting Actress in a Drama nominations have gone to Allison Charde from East Hampton, Danielle Allen from McGann-Mercy, and Dominica Purcell and Eva Zhang from Ross.

Those nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy include Nick Motlenski from McGann-Mercy, Patrick McKenna from Pierson. James Mancuso from Shoreham-Wading River and Tye Granger from Westhampton Beach. Lead Actress in a Comedy nominations have gone to Nicole Chiuchiolo and Elizabeth Field from McGann-Mercy, Laura Rinaldi from Pierson, Molly Benincasa from Shoreham-Wading River and Kim Lato from Westhampton Beach.

Those nominated for Supporting Actor in a Comedy include Thomas Batuello and Oliver Orr from Mattituck, Jared Angona from McGann-Mercy, Beau Riva from Pierson and Bryan Anton from Shoreham-Wading River. Supporting Actress in a Comedy nominations have gone to Jenn Lengyel from Mattituck, Emily Hinz from Pierson, Madeleine Kiss from Ross, Kristin Suarez from Shoreham-Wading River and Nora Davenport from Westhampton Beach.

Those nominated for Lead Actor in a Musical include Dylan Barone from Center Moriches, Nick Motlenski from McGann-Mercy, Stephen Peppaceno from Riverhead, Matthew Dunning from Shelter Island and Sam Kortchmar from Southold. Lead Actress in a Musical nominations have gone to Allison Charde from East Hampton, Shelby Nielsen from Eastport-South Manor, Veronica Reitz from Mattituck, Emily Hinz from Pierson and Haylie Kinsler from Shoreham-Wading River.

Those nominated for Supporting Actor in a Musical include James Argyropoulus from Center Moriches, Cristian Candemir from East Hampton, Zach DePetris from Pierson, Drew Garrison from Shelter Island and Francesco Logozzo from Westhampton Beach. Supporting Actress in a Musical nominations have gone to Catherine Fioriello from East Hampton, Natalie Vero from Eastport-South Manor Jacqueline Minogue from Southampton, Sydney Campbell from Southold and Colette Girardin from Westhampton Beach.
