Anne O’Brien Of Southampton Dies January 10

Anne O’Brien of Southampton died at Southampton Hospital on January 10, 2019. She was 84.

Ms. O’Brien was born in Southampton to Thomas and Mary Bourke in 1935. She worked as a data processor at Southampton Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, John; and her son, Brien. She is survived by her children, Michael O’Brien of Riverhead, Anne O’Brien (Tom Mullen) of Florida, Sean O’Brien (Jule) of Hampton Bays, and Josephine O’Brien of Hampton Bays. She is also survived by a brother, Thomas Bourke of Southampton; and grandchildren, Keith O’Brien and Eric O’Brien of Hampton Bays, and Meghan, Kelsey, Patricia and Lyndsay O’Brien of Montgomery; and her daughter-in-law, Christa.

Visitation was held on Sunday at the O’Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass took place on Monday at The Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Church in Southampton, officiated by the Reverend Michael Vetrano. Interment followed at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Southampton.
