Mr. Motz’s failed attempt instead exhibits the meanness and intolerance of today’s left. This intolerance is one of the reasons I left the Democrat Party after the attempted political assassination of that “brown” guy, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Threatened by diverse political views, Mr. Motz is pitiful as he withdraws from people with whom he does not see “eye to eye.” I’m glad he is a resident of Water Mill, because here in East Hampton people with vastly different political views work together every day on a host of community issues. On occasion, these adults even have dinner together.
Life is short, and it is a shame that Mr. Motz and his ilk spend precious time seeking to pull apart this wonderful community and country. They should just be ignored.
