So Grateful

The outpouring of friendship and support after this disaster has been and continues to be truly amazing. There are no words to fully express the gratitude we feel for everyone who has gone out of their way to help us, financially and spiritually. We are blessed.

Special thank yous go out to:

The fire departments who responded; Southampton Town Police and Volunteer Ambulance; Riverhead Building Supply, my employer, ownership, executives, Southampton store management, corporate office co-workers and dear friends; Paul Currieri, Brad Richards, Bayo, Billy Muller and the NGLA Caddie Corp.; the North Sea Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Executive Committee members and lifelong friends; NSFD “Old Gold”; Elks Club BPOE 1574; the Good Fellows Association; SCVFA, officers and members; Snow White Laundry; and Southrifty Drug Store.

Also: Tracy, the “Cat Lady,” who valiantly tried to find Brewster in the aftermath; and Debbie Robinson, through social media, and my sister Mary, who braved the ticks in the woods searching. I now believe Brew is with his sister Bonne, at peace.

Curtiss and Mary Ellen Schaeffer, who took us in with open arms and friendship. Rick and Sally Nemschick, who helped us settle in.

Both our families and dearest friends, too many to name, so happy to say, who have supported us in every way possible.

We are so grateful for all your help and guidance. This thank you isn’t enough, but it’s a start …
