In celebration of his recent retirement as head farmer at Quail Hill farm in Amagansett, Scott Chaskey will read from his work spanning thirty years as an organic farmer. Scott Chaskey is author of Seedtime: On the History, Husbandry, Politics, and Promise of Seeds, and On This Common Ground. He will read excerpts from these, plus from a forthcoming work, as well as monthly letters he wrote about life on the community-supported farm.
