Taxpayers in the Sagaponack Common School District are being asked to approve a 7.8 percent increase in spending for the 2024-25 operating budget that will raise taxes by 2.6 percent. The $2,038,393 budget is an increase of $148,832 over the current year’s budget. The district is increasing the amount of fund balance it is dedicating to the budget to keep tax increases down by more than $30,000, to $155,873.
