A waterfront home on North Haven dubbed “Harbor Lights,” which was on the market for the first time in nearly six decades, has sold for $8.15 million

The 1.2-acre bulkheaded property in the Bay Haven private association has views of Sag Harbor Village, Shelter Island Sound, and Mashomuck Preserve, and features 200 feet of bay frontage. The residence, built in 1996, is 4,825 square feet with four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half-bath. The listing notes that the lot can accommodate a 6,000-square foot home with a 3,000-square-foot lower level, a rooftop deck, a waterside pool, and a 911-square-foot accessory structure. In fact, renderings for just such a home are already completed.

The sellers are brother and sister Albert Harum-Alvarez and Andrea Schiavoni. Ms. Schiavoni is a former Southampton Town justice and current Suffolk County Family Court judge. The new owners are John Moore and Laura Fontana.

The property sold for very close to its last asking price: $8.3 million. Christina Galesi of Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing and Beate Moore, also of Sotheby’s, brought the buyer.
