The Greater Eastport Chamber of Commerce and the Eastport Green Project raised money to light wreaths on Main Street last weekend in honor of the holiday season.
Lee Allen, life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5350 in Westhampton Beach and Vietnam Veteran was the keynote speaker at Veterans Day Ceremonies at the Post. Mr. Allen is also an active member of American Legion Post 924 in Hampton Bays. His speech emphasized gratitude, service and respect for the flag.

The Southampton Garden Club, along with Jacob Antilety Landscaping, recently revamped the Liberty Garden located at the Southampton Fire Station on the corner of Montauk Highway and St. Andrews Road. The Liberty Garden was created after the September 11, 2001 attacks. The garden now boasts native plants, pollinators and a sculpted yew tree stump. In the garden, left to right are, Helene Fagan Barbara Glatt, Christl Meszkat, Lydia Wallis, Alex Antilety, Sacha MacNaughton, Mark Antilety and Deborah De La Gueronniere. DANA SHAW
