An attempted coup by a deranged lame duck president and a small group of Republican congressmen was attempted this week. Like lemmings, these few blindly followed their loser over the cliff to try to disenfranchise millions of voters who gave Joe Biden the presidency.

Their behavior will do irreplaceable damage to the party of Lincoln. That party was created to try to hold the states together in the 1860s. One hundred and forty years later, some members of that party are attempting in this “violent” coup to destroy the democracy created by our founding fathers.

It appears that these seditious Republicans are attempting an insurrection to overthrow a legal electoral constitutional process. They have been drinking the fear Kool-Aid that Trump gave them.

So sad.
