Burner Law Group, an all-female law firm in New York, lit up its Westhampton Beach location in red to raise awareness for women’s heart health. Nancy Burner‚ Esq. the founder of Burner Law Group‚ P.C, and her daughter Britt Burner, Esq., have teamed up with Northwell Health and the Katz Institute for Women’s Health to bring wellness initiatives to the East End. Britt Burner, Esq., is a member of the Katz Institute Advisory Council. The Katz Institute is a leader in women's health, dedicated to improving the quality of life for women by providing educational resources, prevention, wellness programs and clinical care.

This Little Free Food Pantry effort was initiated through The Neo-Political Cowgirls’ annual workshop, January Girls, where participants ages 6 to106 gather in art, ally-ship and friendship for a month of Sundays. The Little Free Food Pantry movement spans the nation where small pantries with non-perishable food and other necessities within are free 24/7 for anyone to receive from as needed. The Little Free Food Pantry is a “Give a cup/Borrow a cup of sugar, neighborly experience where dignity, caring and sharing are put into action for all to support one another as a community collective,” says NPC founder and Artistic Director Kate Mueth. The community can also donate items to the pantry at any time (No dented cans or expired donations, please) and/or sign up to volunteer for a month of a weekly shift to be a pantry caretaker. Stony Brook Southampton will serve as a satellite pick-up location for Heart of the Hamptons food pantry every Friday from 10 a.m. to noon in the university’s parking near the Fine Arts building. Wildlife Rescue Center To Hold Plant Sale Fundraiser

The nonprofit Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, located in Munn’s Pond County Park in Hampton Bays, will hold its annual Mother’s Day plant sale fundraiser from Friday through Saturday, May 10 to 12. Choral Society Announces Auditions

The Choral Society of the Hamptons will hold auditions in May for all singing parts — soprano, alto, tenor, bass — for singers interested in joining the group prior to the Choral Society’s next concert on Saturday, June 29, at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church.
