Membership Chair Fred Bauer of the American Legion Arthur Ellis Hamm Post 834 in Westhampton recently accepted a plaque of acknowledgement of a 20% increase in membership from Rob Robesch, current judge advocate for the 10th district and past Nassau County Commander.
Long Island Cares, Inc. hosted its first East End Farmer’s Market on Wednesday, April 30, at the Hunger Assistance and Humanitarian Center of the Hamptons in Hampton Bays. Through the help of funding provided by Feeding New York State, Long Island Cares offered its member agencies, like Hamptons Community Outreach, unlimited boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables to provide to families, children, seniors and veterans residing on the East End. The 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach inducted 14 Airmen to the NCO rank of SSGT, this year. On April 30, a celebration and a leadership seminar for held for these new leaders.
