For past five years, Ms. Casale  has been using her talent to run long distances and capitalizing on her physical and mental focus by pounding the pavement a minimum of 26.2 miles each day for seven day to raise funds to honor  troops,  local veterans and those who have fallen. The 12th annual Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show and Auction will be held on Friday, May 3, at The Clubhouse in East Hampton. Oceans of Hope Gala Set for May 3

The New York Marine Rescue Center will hold its annual Oceans of Hope Gala on Friday, May 3, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Long Island Aquarium. This year’s honoree is John v.H. Halsey, president of the Peconic Land Trust. The New York Marine Rescue Center is a rescue and rehabilitation organization that promotes marine conservation. Call for Memories of ‘Uncle Fred’

The Water Mill Museum invites anyone who may have met, known or interacted with Fred Benedict (1860-1952) of Water Mill to please share their memories with the museum. “Uncle Fred” was a beloved member of the local community, and “Uncle Fred’s Workshop” is preserved at the Water Mill Museum, just as he left it 72 years ago. The Sag Harbor Masonic Club will offer African drumming and dance lessons on Sunday, April 28, taught by master drummer M’Bemba Bangoura.
