The town will pay the Bistrian family $28 million over the next two years for owner ship of parts of the family's Amagansett farm and for development rights off of other parts. The town will retain a portion of the land to use for "municipal purposes" like the expansion of the parking lot, and other portions will remain developable by the Bistrian's or usable for special events.
