Frank “Butch” Rogers of East Quogue died peacefully at his home September 12, surrounded by family. He was 68.
Mr. Rogers was born in Manhattan on December 7, 1952, the only son of Frank (Babe) and Maureen Rogers of East Quogue.
Mr. Rogers was a graduate of Westhampton Beach High School. He worked mostly as a carpenter and lastly as an MRI mechanic at Fonar, before he retired.
He loved spending time with his family and his dogs. He was a huge sports fan, and loved math and history.
Mr. Rogers was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his life partner of 46 years, Lynne Johnston of East Quogue; his sister, Laura Ulrich and Chris of Florida; and many cousins, aunts, close family and friends.
Services were held at Scott-Rothwell Funeral Home on September 18, followed by a private cremation. Donations can be made to East End Hospice or Disabled American Veterans.
