On Sunday, October 24, at 2 p.m., join the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor for a sneak peek preview of New York Times bestselling author Tom Clavin’s new book “Lightning Down: A World War II Story of Survival.” The book tells the true story of an American fighter pilot who was imprisoned within the walls of Buchenwald, one of the most notorious Nazi concentration camps. It is a can’t-put-it-down inspiring saga of brave men confronting great evil and great odds against survival.

The event will take place in the library’s lower level program room.

“Lightning Down” will be released on November 2. A limited number of pre-publication copies will be available for sale at this event. Visit johnjermain.org to register for the event. The library is at 201 Main Street, Sag Harbor.
