An East Hampton compound, 10 parcels in all and totaling 21.8 acres, recently sold for $22.7 million.

Landscape architect Edmund Hollander designed the grounds that surround the 15,500-square-foot, 11-bedroom Cotswolds-inspired main house built in 2008 at 172 Cedar Street. There are also horse stables with paddocks and riding fields.

A heated Gunite pool, oversized spa, a pool house with a full kitchen and bedroom, and a tennis court complement the main house, which is framed by stone courtyards, covered arbors and idyllic gardens typical of a storied estate, according to the listing. The amenities in the finished 3,500-square-foot lower level include a sunken spa, a sauna, a steam room, a massage room, a fully equipped gym and a theater.

The compound also offers two guest cottages and the opportunity for additional development.

“It was a privilege to represent such an exceptional property and we’re happy to see it to a successful closing,” said Dana Trotter of Sotheby’s International Realty. “Also pleased that approximately half of the acreage will be preserved.”

The deal closed April 29 and the new owner is identified only as Stone Meadow EH LLC, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.
