On Friday, July 8, and Saturday, July 9, the Parrish Art Museum will host its annual Midsummer celebration — two events that will bring together artists, art collectors, curators, philanthropists and business leaders from the East End, New York City and beyond. The weekend features the Midsummer Dance with a DJ set by Papi Juice on Friday, and the Midsummer Dinner on Saturday, with cocktails and a seated dinner.

The Midsummer Dinner honors Racquel Chevremont and Mickalene Thomas, collectively known as Deux Femmes Noires, curators of the exhibition “Set It Off”; artist Jasper Johns, whose work is featured in a solo exhibition at the museum, of 90 prints; and philanthropist/collector Miyoung Lee. The event welcomes the Parrish’s new director, Mónica Ramírez-Montagut, Ph.D. Guests at the events will have the opportunity to explore “Set It Off” and “An Art of Changes: Jasper Johns Prints, 1960 - 2018” in the Parrish galleries and meadow.

The Midsummer Dance is Friday, July 8, from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets start at $250. The Midsummer Dinner is Saturday, July 9, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets start at $1,500. To purchase, visit parrishart.org. The Parrish Art Museum is at 279 Montauk Highway, Water Mill.
