A century-old Southampton compound recently sold for $6 million even.

On 2.7 acres at 144 Edge of Woods Road in the hamlet of North Sea, the estate has three renovated structures — a Colonial main house, a garage house and a guesthouse— totaling 9,538 square feet with nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms and one half-bath among them.

Michaela Keszler and Madeline Hult Elghanayan of Douglas Elliman had the listing.

“This beautiful Southampton compound is the perfect getaway for entertaining and year-round living,” Michaela Keszler said. “Just minutes from ocean beaches, the property offers both the main house and a charming guesthouse, lush, landscaped grounds and a spectacular pool. It’s a prestigious estate, dating back to the 1920s, and it’s been completely renovated and elevated to meet the needs of a modern lifestyle. I love its idyllic setting and the home’s many terraces, overgrown by wisteria, overlooking the grounds and the natural beauty all around.”

The seller was TSA Southampton LLC and the new owners are Katherine and Oren Aviv, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The deal closed June 28.

Oren Aviv is a film writer and producer. He co-wrote the story for the Nicolas Cage classic “National Treasure” and more recently was an executive producer of “Molly’s Game,” “The Edge of Seventeen,” “Bad Moms” and “The Free State of Jones.”

The property had been listed for $6.99 million at the end of 2019 though last year the asking price was reduced to $6.49 million.

The last time the property changed hands was in 2007, with a price tag of $9 million, according to town records.
