Crews working for South Fork Wind installed the cable conduit under roads in Wainscott last spring. This fall they will begin boring the 1,500-foot-long underground conduit from the Beach Lane parking lot to the point in the seafloor where it will meet the cable to the wind turbines themselves, 50 miles to the southeast.
