A contemporary fronting the ocean in Westhampton recently sold for $4.2 million with a last asking price of $4.75 million.

The address is 599 Dune Road and offers Moriches Bay views and access in addition to its coveted oceanfront location.

The home on 0.85 acre offers five bedrooms and three bathrooms, including the master suite with a cathedral ceiling, marble fireplace and private oceanfront balcony.

The main level has an open living and dining area with wide glass sliders to bridge the indoor and outdoor spaces and enjoy the views to both the north and south. The kitchen overlooks the bayside Gunite pool. Common areas on the second story include an oceanview family room and a bayside reading nook.

The home comes with a deeded catwalk to a bay beach perfect for boating or Jet Skis, according to the listing from Daniel Gale Sotheby’s agents Mary Binder and Dianne Klink.

The deal closed on July 6, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The sellers were Joseph Osipow, a restorative and cosmetic dentist in Great Neck who is the official dentist of the Brooklyn Nets, and his wife, Adina, and the new owners are Utopia Properties LLC and Utopia Properties Two LLC. According to town records, the Osipows purchased the property in 1986.
