It may be getting cold outside, but Suffolk Theater in Riverhead is warming things up in the coming weeks with plenty of hot music. Here’s what’s coming up:

Nightrain: The Guns N’ Roses Tribute – Friday, December 16, 8 p.m.

Nightrain is here with the ultimate Guns N’ Roses tribute. With scary accurate vocals, killer showmanship and spot-on classic riffs, audience members will be transported back to the good ol’ days of rock ’n’ roll.

The accurate vocals and hypnotic swaying of Axl both capture the audience’s attention from the first beat down to the last note. Slash’s classic riffs and perfect showmanship (and top hat) will make everyone do a double take. However, Axl and Slash are only part of the show. The tight rhythm of Izzy, Duff and Steven are the glue that keeps this true concert tribute together. Izzy’s laid back style, a 6’ blonde Duff, the energy of Steven “popcorn” Adler complete this visually and musically accurate line-up. This band’s vibrant stage presence and accuracy to everything about Guns N’ Roses leaves the entire crowd pleased.

The band’s tribute to Guns N’ Roses has been taking the U.S. by storm for years. Performances have ranged from The House Of Blues, MTV’s Famous Club LaVela, The FC Dallas Stadium, to this year’s Carolina Rebellion, sharing the bill with Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Buckcherry to name a few.

Tickets are $35 to $45. Doors open 7 p.m.

Sinatra Birthday Celebration – Saturday, December 17, at 8 p.m.

Celebrate Frank Sinatra’s 107th birthday with the New Millennium Jazz Band. Enjoy a night of dancing, drinks, food, and most importantly, the timeless music of the man himself.

This will be an elegant night of dancing, wine, appetizers, desserts and the music of Frank Sinatra performed to perfection by the 19-piece New Millennium Big Band orchestra, and the dance floor will be open. Hear all of the hits amidst the timeless décor of the 1933 Historic Suffolk Theater

Tickets are $45 to $55. Doors open 7 p.m.

“Miracle on 52nd Street” – Friday, December 23, at 8 p.m.

The band that recorded Billy Joel’s classic albums The Lords of 52nd Street returns ... but this time with some Christmas spirit. Come hear favorites from albums they recorded with Joel like “The Stranger,” “52nd Street,” “Glass Houses,” “Turnstiles” and so much more along with some holiday classics thrown in. Joel’s band included Richie Cannata, Liberty DeVitto, and Russell Javors who are The Lords of 52nd Street. They perform all of the favorite Billy Joel songs exactly as they sounded on the albums, because they all played in the band that recorded and toured them.

Tickets are $49 to $59. Doors open 7 p.m.

The Suffolk 54 New Year’s Eve – Saturday, December 31, 10 p.m.

Take a trip back to the disco days of Studio 54 with That 70’s Band for the biggest New Year’s Eve party on the East End. The night includes: open dance floor; hats, noise makers, and streamers; exclusive one-night-only menu offerings; specialty cocktails; live stream of Times Square ball drop; and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. So dance your way into 2023 with music of Earth Wind and Fire, The Commodores, Donna Summer, KC and The Sunshine Band, Chic, Bee Gees and much more.

Tickets are $125. Doors open 9 p.m.

Suffolk Theater is at 118 East Main Street, Riverhead. For tickets and show details visit suffolktheater.com.
