Bedside Reading, which distributes custom-filled totes of summer beach reads, is back on the East End and will introduce new authors of all genres to the guests staying at select hotels and inns over the weekend of August 12.

Books being distributed include: “The Other Year” by Rea Frey (fiction), “Underjungle” by James Sturz (science fiction), “In Every Belief Is a Lie” by Lisa Schermerhorn (psychology), “The Woman in the Castello” by Kelsey James (historical fiction), “Life and Other Shortcomings” by Corie Adjmi (short stories).

Each participating hotel will provide a Bedside Reading gift card with a unique QR code providing access to over 20 eBooks and audiobooks via an on-the-download program, where books change quarterly and are available 24/7 to every guest.

“Bedside Reading is always excited to add to a Hamptons guest’s beach holiday,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, founder of Bedside Reading. “What better way than with a book bag full of books from new authors of all genres. We are happy to share our collection for everyone’s beach bag or electronic device.”

Bedside Reading’s complimentary books can be found at the following hotels and inns on the East End: Mill House Inn, The Maidstone, Southampton Inn, 1708 House, MARRAM Montauk, Journey East Hampton and Baker House 1650. Additional upcoming weekends for the program include August 25 and October 6.
