Hampton Bays Elementary School marked the anniversary of 9/11 with a memorial ceremony, during which fourth graders read poems and essays that they wrote about what it means to be a hero and sang patriotic songs, and the Hampton Bays Fire Department presented a memorial wreath. Registration Open for Pre-K And Kindergarten at Southampton School District

Registration for pre-K and kindergarten at Southampton School district is open. Residents of the school district should call 631-591-4517 to schedule an appointment. Documentation will be required to prove age and residency. Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025 are eligible for prekindergarten; those who are 5 years old by that date are eligible for kindergarten. Students already attending prekindergarten do not need to register for kindergarten. by Staff Writer
