The house at 117 Bay View Avenue in Lazy Point has been protected by a wall of giant sandbags called Geocubes since 2018. The owner has asked to replace them bags, which were permitted on a temporary basis only, with a permanent rock revetment, saying it's the only way the house can be saved from destruction due to erosion.
