Joy Jan Jones, who has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, will perform in a one-evening concert in the Baldwin Room at East Hampton Library on Friday, May 10, at 6 p.m.

Jones, who has received numerous awards, will sing a number of well-known jazz standards, accompanied by her band, The Fiancés, which includes Bobby Peterson on Keys, Tom Khiloury on guitar, Mike Pitocchi on string Bass and Fitzy on percussion.

As a recording artist and songwriter, Jones has earned studio credits since age 12. In addition to performing, Joy has found time to serve as associate music director and principal cantor at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from Sam Houston University and a Master of Music degree in performance from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. Some of her roles to date include: Marenka in “The Bartered Bride,” Eurydice in “Orpheus and the Underworld,” Fiordiligi in “Così fan tutte,” and Christine Daaé in “Phantom of the Opera.”
