Bonac Print Shop will host its 4th Annual Art Invitational with a reception at Ashawagh Hall in Springs, celebrating local artists and their work. The exhibition will be on view on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Curated by Springs native Ryan Sherman of Three Mile Media, the exhibition will feature more than 45 East End artists showcasing original pieces alongside a curated print shop. Participating artists include Lucy Villeneuve, William Quigley, Sarah Eyesner, Joanna Steidle, Candace Ceslow, James Katsipis, Dalton Portella and Kara Hoblin.

The event will include first edition, limited edition and open edition prints available for purchase throughout the weekend. The goal is to make art collecting accessible to all, regardless of age or income. Twenty percent of original artwork sales will benefit the Springs School PTA’s art program.

The opening reception from 4 to 9 p.m. on October 25 will feature local refreshments. Live music will be performed from 5 to 7 p.m. by Dylan Greene and Nick Silipo of REEB!, along with Montauk music teacher Jake Lorefice.

“This show embodies the pulse I have on the artists of the East End and beyond,” Sherman said. “It gives me a direct opportunity to help new and emerging artists showcase their works next to seasoned veterans in the art world. This way of curation provides a level of confidence and inspires the artists to connect with each other and grow their network.

“The Print Shop aspect is equally as important, allowing an affordable shop for those of all ages to come and collect some local art from their favorites,” he continued. “As a Springs kid, I wanted to give back to the local art community and the Springs School art program every year — and this was the best way I knew how to do it.”

Ashawagh Hall is at 780 Springs Fireplace Road in East Hampton.
