In conjunction with the current exhibition “Painting Partnership: Reynold & Joan Ruffins,” the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook will host a “Meet the Artist” event featuring Sag Harbor’s Michael A. Butler on Thursday, February 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. During the event, Butler, a painter, historian and humanitarian, will share insight about the works on view as well as the rich history of the Sag Harbor artist community. The talk is free with museum admission.
