East End fans of HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” listen up. The Ram’s Head Inn on Shelter Island is offering “Behind The Scenes,” two events on the first weekend in April that will pair food and cocktails with talks by two guests who are an integral part of the series — executive producer and director Michael Engler and costume designer Kasia Walicka Maimone.

The weekend begins on Saturday, April 2, with The Gilded Age Dinner, a themed supper that starts at 5 p.m. The evening includes a welcome cocktail, a three-course dinner with wine served throughout, and a special presentation and Q&A by Engler and Maimone. The cost is $200 per person.

A “Meet The Director/Executive Producer Brunch” follows on Sunday, April 3, at 10:30 a.m. with a welcome cocktail, a decadent brunch buffet and an intimate conversation with Engler. The cost is $75 per person.

To purchase tickets for either “The Gilded Age” supper or brunch, visit theramsheadinn.com or call 631-749-0811. Ram’s Head Inn is at 108 Ram Island Drive, Shelter Island Heights.
