Almond has announced that the next “Artists & Writers Night” night of the season will be hosted by artist Alice Hope on November 2 starting at 7 p.m.

Guests can enjoy a family style three-course menu crafted by executive chef Jason Weiner. Reservations are required and the $45 cost includes a glass of local wine or craft beer and gratuity.

Ms. Hope has an M.F.A. from Yale University and has been exhibiting since the late 1980s. Last spring, she had a solo show at Ricco Maresca Gallery and has created several public and residential commissions including a large-scale work titled, “Under the Radar” at Camp Hero State Park in Montauk for the Parrish Art Museum.

Ms. Hope’s work frequently integrates binary code and the obsessive repetition of this code in creating her compositions. In her 2013 Armory Show Project, she was commissioned by the fair to create two public works. One of the panels repeats the binary code for love and the other is based on the binary code for blind. She recently inaugurated the WNYC Greene Space artist-in-residence program.
Almond is located at 1 Ocean Road in Bridgehampton. For reservations contact Almond at (631) 537-5665 or visit www.almondrestaurant.com for more information.
