The Church in Sag Harbor will host “Makers Night & Open Studio” on Friday, September 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., inviting artists, writers and creatives of all kinds to come together and make art in a relaxed, collaborative setting.
The event is a reimagining of the venue’s Late Night Open Studio series and offers attendees the chance to work alongside The Church’s current artists-in-residence, James Esber and Madjeen Isaac. Guests are welcome to visit their studios, view their work and discuss their creative process.
The program is a low-pressure, community-centered event designed to support creativity and foster connection. Participants must bring their own supplies, including easels. The Church will provide tables, chairs and an open studio environment. Artists are responsible for cleaning their workspace, with cleanup beginning 30 minutes before the event ends. The monotype press will not be available for use.
Admission is $10 (free for members) and advance RSVP is required at thechurchsagharbor.org. The Church is located at 48 Madison Street, Sag Harbor.
