ArtRemsenburg is currently presenting an intimate visual arts show featuring a group of four acclaimed local artists from Remsenburg and the surrounding area.
“This is a special show celebrating the re-opening of the Academy for the season, however belated.” stated ArtRemsenburg committee member Paul Dempsey, “We will be practicing social distancing and a mask will be required to enter.”
All the works are for sale, interested buyers will deal directly with the artists to arrange sales. A website has been set up for reference with all of the show info: hamptonsgateway.com/artremsenburg.
This special return show will be on view Friday, July 10, through Sunday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Participating artists are: Jean Arena-Barbieri, Paul Dempsey, Pamela Bracken Morrison and Steven Schreiber. This is a perfect opportunity to support the local arts community.
The Remsenburg Academy is located at 130 South Country Road in the hamlet of Remsenburg. It is located in a historic building that was constructed in the late 19th century as a boy’s school and was recently named a landmark by the Town of Southampton. The building continues to play a key role in the everyday life of the entire community. The Remsenburg Academy is delighted to present ArtRemsenburg, which brings painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media events to this magical setting in a series of summer art shows.
