In conjunction with its current exhibition, “Artists Choose Artists,” the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton will present gallery talks by participating artists on Saturday, October 1, at 2 p.m.

“Artists Choose Artists” is the Parrish’s second juried exhibition to celebrate artists on the East End. For this exhibition, seven distinguished East End artists served as jurors, each making two selections from 200 online submissions and subsequent studio visits. Jurors’ work is exhibited in tandem with that of the artists he or she selected.

The program will feature Mary Ellen Bartley, selected by Ross Bleckner; Terry Elkins, selected by Matthew Satz; Melinda Hackett, selected by Gary Simmons; Alice Hope, selected by Agathe Snow; Nella Khanis, selected by Agathe Snow; Julie Small-Gamby, selected by Frank Wimberley; and Tad Wiley, selected by Dan Rizzie.

The “Artists Choose Artists” gallery talk will be free with museum admission. For additional information, visit parrishart.org or call 283-2118.
